Ari Taragin

Ari Taragin, Esq.

Ari Taragin joined Snider & Associates, LLC (formerly Snider & Fischer, LLC) in 2003. Prior to joining Snider & Associates, Mr. Taragin served as a law clerk to the Honorable Mary C. Jacobson of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Civil Division. While performing his clerkship, Mr. Taragin also completed training as a state certified mediator and mediated pre-trial cases on a regular basis. Mr. Taragin is also a reservist in the Israeli Defense Forces after having honorably served in the 401st Armored Corps Division in 1994-1995.

He graduated from Yeshiva College of the Nations Capitol in Silver Spring, MD with high honors (4.0 GPA) in 1998 with Bachelors of Art in Talmudic Law. Ari attended the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of law in New York, NY and graduated in 2002. He was invited to join, and did participate as, a member of a prestigious journal, the "Communications Law in Transition Newsletter."

Ari was admitted to practice in Maryland as of February 2003 and is also admitted in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland (2004), United States District Court, District of Columbia (2004), United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit (2005), and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit (2005).

Mr. Taragin is a member of the American Bar Association, National Employment Lawyers Association and the Metropolitan Washington Employment Lawyers Association. His practice includes representation of employees before state and federal courts, the EEOC, and the MSPB, in both individual and class action litigation, focusing on issues including: sexual harassment, discrimination based on race, sex, age, or disability; Family Medical Leave Act claims and litigation of whistleblower retaliation claims.
